Pursuing His Presence

We believe that the outstanding hallmark of the people of God is the incredible privilege of experiencing his presence. This was true of the community that came out of the land of Egypt with Moses. It was Moses who asked the question of God, “What else (other than your presence)“What else (other than your presence) will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?” -Moses will distinguish me and your people from all the other people on the face of the earth?” Today the distinguishing mark of God’s people is still his presence. It is our desire to cultivate and pursue his presence in our lives both individually and corporately. We believe that our corporate gatherings are first of all for God and his pleasure and not for ourselves and our needs. In our gatherings we anticipate experiencing His presence, receiving our heavenly Father’s love and responding to it and honouring Jesus as the author of our salvation and the champion of our faith. Our hearts’ cry is for more of the Holy Spirit, a deeper encounter with the love of our Father and a greater revelation of the person of Jesus so that our lives can be transformed from glory to glory.

The Bible says, “Taste and see that the Lord is good”. We are discovering the truth of this statement and having tasted have set our hearts to keep pursuing his presence and tasting of him, who alone is able to satisfy our souls.
