Treasure Hunting is asking God to give us clues to reveal the hidden treasures in people. The clues may be colours, items of clothing, shops, streets or names. We write these down and discuss our clues in groups of 2 or 3. Then we ask God to show us where to go. It is just like treasure hunting as we seek to find the clues God has given us and look for the treasure, which are people.
We have found God to be fantastic as we look to him for our clues and rely on what He has shown us and therefore we don’t go out witnessing in our own strength but His. Many people we have approached have actually found it exciting that they have been a clue in a treasure hunt and it’s a great way of opening doors into people’s lives.
God again has been amazing as we stretch ourselves, and rely on hearing Him, and again He never fails to show up.
