TURNAROUND: Part 2

Encounter That Changes Perspective

The Apostle John, on the Isle of Patmos had his perspective transformed by an encounter with Jesus which caused him to TURN AROUND.  Revelation 1:10-12
The visit of Emma Stark on 24th November has led us into a fresh encounter with Christ which is causing a change of perspective for us individually and corporately.

On Sunday 1st December, a week after Emma was with us, our Elders were explaining and imparting some of the prophetic word from the previous week.

While this was happening, Edna Jones had a vision of Jesus.
She explains: –
“While I usually see Him reaching out His hands and blessing people, on this occasion it was different”.
He was:- ‘dancing exuberantly’ and ‘saying excitedly to the angels’ –  “they’re getting it, they’re getting it”.
He is motivating His people to stop spectating and start partaking. There is a fresh desire for church to be the ‘ecclesia’ – a gathering of citizens with power (authority) to legislate and the power (capability) to enact the will of God on the Earth.

What are we getting that is such a blessing to God?

Good question!
Prophetic words and conversations since then may shed some light.
The same prophetic exhortation has come again and again.
“Get on board”
“All hands on deck”
When we prophetically and repeatedly hear such sailing analogies in Leicester we know that God is bringing about a sea change 😆

There is no question that we have crossed over into something fresh and exciting in 2020.

People are saying things like:-
“There is something in the air”
“It’s life Jim, but not as we know it”
“If you are not satisfied with how church looks, then God is probably wanting YOU to do something about it”.
“Stop sitting in the stands watching the action on the pitch. Cross the invisible boundaries, invade the pitch and play your part”.
” Blow the cobwebs off your hands and start using them to bless and heal”.

It is clear that God is motivating lots of us, simultaneously, to action.

What is God up to?
He is motivating His people to stop spectating and start partaking. There is a fresh desire for church to be the ‘ecclesia’ – a gathering of citizens with power (authority) to legislate and the power (capability) to enact the will of God on the Earth.

A gathering where ALL have a voice and a part to play.

This is the TURNAROUND that God has promised.
There is a fresh hunger for encounter, worship, prayer, miracles, gifts of the Spirit and the Scriptures.

A fresh desire for the whole body to play it’s part.

Emma Stark brought hope and faith for a new day and a new way through her prophetic gift.
It’s up to us to take the prophetic word, weigh it and put into action the things that resonate.

In doing so we can take hold of the promise of Jesus that:-

“the one who receives a prophet because he is a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward” Matthew 10:41
